Mary Seery-Kearney is a Senator in the 26th Seanad Eireann. She specialises in Employment and Privacy/Data Protection Law, GDPR Auditing, Compliance and Corporate Governance, and is a legal advisor to a number of organisations and professional bodies, employers and special interest groups. Mary is also the Fine Gael Seanad Spokesperson on Children, Disability, Equality, Integration and Privacy Rights.
During this briefing she will cover ” Remote Working: a year-end review” looking at policies, GDPR at home and health & safety best practises – specifically reviewing developments in the obligations on both Employers and Employees when working from home. Essentially everything required to comply with correct ‘work-from-home’ protocols.
Brian Crooke is a well-being educator, speaker and adviser, empowering Irish organisations to promote and sustain wellbeing within their workplaces. He is the founder of The Work Well Institute and the Workplace Wellbeing Ireland community and is Course Director of the Postgraduate Certificate in Workplace Wellness at Tangent, Trinity College Dublin. He is the host of The Work Well Podcast.
In his spare time, Brian is bringing free resistance training to every county and community in Ireland through his parkHIIT social enterprise.
He will cover “Remote Wellbeing – The Building Blocks to a Healthy and Productive Day” to ensure we are looking after our mental well-being while stuck working from home.
