Vetting Service
Steps
Step 1: NVB#1 Form | The vetting subject manually completes and signs the NVB#1 form and forwards to the Agency / Organisation together with photo ID and proof of address |
Step 2: Batch Header | Agency / Organisation validates the applicants proof of identity and sends the 6 points of information received on the NVB#1 form to the ERF on a Batch Header. An e-mail with a link attached inviting him/her to complete a Vetting Application Form is generated by the ERF via the portal to the applicant |
Step 3: Invitation | The vetting subject completes a Vetting Application Form online and submits it to the ERF |
Step 4: Review | The ERF reviews the Vetting Application Form and submits it to the National Vetting Bureau |
Step 5: Vetting | The National Vetting Bureau processes the application and forwards a vetting disclosure to the ERF |
Step 6: Disclosure | The ERF receives the disclosure and as soon as is practicable, forwards the disclosure to the appointed liaison person in the Agency / Organisation |
